Our goal is to expand the work of the Lajee Center's Environment Unit — which includes the water testing, recycling, and rooftop garden projects. Expansion already is underway. Beginning summer 2016, the Lajee Center trained volunteers at Al-Azza Camp, Al-Walaja Village, and Al-Aroub Camp.
Expanding the water monitoring program is just the first step in assessing the needs of the 12 West Bank communities we hope to reach in the next few years. More comprehensive research needs to be done to examine the diverse challenges and how we can address them.
